Some of the Pack 888 Webelos joined us camping at the Hill Country State Park in Hondo / Bandera, TX this weekend. We endured rain, temperatures below freezing and high winds but still managed to have a great time! We had the pleasure of meeting and working with the park rangers on a service project to clear out Cedar trees and build habitats for the woodland animals. Our scouts buddied up with the younger Webelos and shared what they knew. In the evenings the Scouts entertained the leaders and parents with skits and songs. All in all everyone had a wonderful time and are looking forward to the upcoming campouts. |
